(Assistant) Fund Accountant

Job Description:

This position will ensure the department provides exceptional customer service, calculates timely and accurate net asset values per share and provides same for peer review and onward reporting without error. The FA is also responsible for all general administrative responsibilities relating to their clients.

Minimum Education & Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business-related area together with equivalent working experience.

Qualifications:

  • Good organizational & communication skills;
  • Fluent in and have excellent knowledge of English;
  • Ability to work within deadlines;
  • Computer literacy with detailed knowledge of Excel at the least;
  • Self motivated, innovative and analytical;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and supervisory skills;
  • Service-minded attitude;
  • Team player with the ability to successfully work in a fast paced and demanding professional environment;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Must be flexible;
  • Dynamic personality and enthusiastic;
  • Ability to set priorities; and Pro-active attitude and willingness to put forth suggestions for constructive improvement in provision of service.
